'The Cat in a Hat' stories by Dr Seuss were first published in 1957... Wow that seems a very long time ago... We have three cats, Thing and the Goldfish. I bought this from Russian Treasures at the Sydney Quilt Show recently... actually I've bought a lot of Matryoshka's from these people over the years.

They are so well done. Lovely finish on them.
It's been fun re reading the Stories to two little boys :-) Kids just love the rhythm!
